Laboratory Director: Laura E. Thomas
Dr. Thomas received her Ph.D. in 2008 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before joining the Department of Psychology at NDSU in 2011, she was
a post-doctoral researcher at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Thomas is interested in the ways in which action, affordances, and social interactions affect perception and cognition.
Graduate Student: Griffin Newell
Griffin joined the Action and Cognition Lab in 2023 after receiving his undergraduate degree from Morehead State University in Kentucky. Griffin is currently investigating representations of peripersonal space.
